About St Pius X Residence

The Need:

Aging carries with it the right to receive due respect, dignity, and honor.  It is our responsibility to return to our priests the love and care that they have offered to us, and the amenities and comfort they so richly deserve. 

“Rise in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly, and revere your God. I am the Lord.”  (Leviticus 19:32)

The parishioners of the diocese supplement the expenses of the residence along with donations made annually to a special collection for this purpose. Priest residents give a portion of their diocesan pension towards the expenses incurred while residing there.

Rev. Stephen Pietrowski is the Rector.  Fr. Pietrowski was the past pastor of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs, Centerport, and St. Philip Neri, Northport.
